Finding the B2B Side of a Consumer Product

Head of Growth, Decktopus AI

How a pattern in our user data became a sales motion, and a creator program filled it with 148 qualified sales calls in 2.5 months.

The situation

Decktopus grew as a tool individuals sign up for on their own. But in the data, I kept seeing the same thing: one person would start using it, then bring their teammates. Companies were already finding us. We just weren't meeting them.

What I did

I set up a B2B motion around that pattern: a way to spot team interest, a lead flow, and sales calls and demos. To fill it, I built a LinkedIn creator program on a six-figure budget, working with creators whose audiences make presentations at work. The program carried a message I wrote myself: "PowerPoint is dead." We were the first company to put that idea out there, and it gave every creator a bold opening that made people stop scrolling.

What I learned

Business buyers trust people in their own feed more than ads. And the best B2B signal was hiding inside our consumer data the whole time.

What changed

The program brought 148 qualified sales calls in 2.5 months and gave Decktopus a working B2B channel next to its consumer growth.
