Seven years of building a femtech brand from zero, with no budget and no one to hand things to.

The situation

In 2018, as an engineering student, I co-founded Triwi, a femtech brand built around a smart bra. We had an idea, no money and no audience.

What I did

We funded the company through crowdfunding and grants. I built the brand, the website and every growth channel myself, and grew a community of 5,000+ users around a topic most brands avoided talking about.

What I learned

Everything I do at work today started here: talking to users before building, finding the one channel that works, and doing a lot with very little. Running my own company also taught me what it feels like to own the outcome completely.

What changed

Triwi ran from 2018 to 2025. It is the reason I think like a founder in every role I take.
